It is weigh in today, and much to my surprise I've lost 800gm (or 1.7lbs) this week! That puts me at 107.6kg (or 237lb) which is good. :)
Ok on to "stuff".
I am sick of the taste of artificial sweeteners. I was using
Hermestas Gold, but found some
Stevia, which is a natural sweetener, but I'm finding I really don't like that taste of that either much. So now I'm having my Chai Latte sachets with no sweetener at all, as they really don't need it. Coffee I'm still needing one but might try to cut it out or something.
Yesterday at the gym I was inspired by
Work In Progress to go hard on the treadmill. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, going at a pretty fast walking pace, but every 4 minutes I did 1 minute of jogging. So that was 6 minutes of jogging in total. I tell you, it nearly killed me! LOL! I was paying for it later in the day - in the thighs and definitely my dodgy knees. But I was glad I did it. I also pushed hard on the exercise bike, going as fast as I could for as long as I could a couple of times (not timing myself), and I did some time on the rower too. I'm really proud! And I'm really thankful for Work In Progress too - you've said you've been inspired by me, well it's mutual!
Let's discuss the "green zone".
I'm not in the green zone. I must be close, but I'm not there. I still feel some hunger between meals, and am still cheating by snacking (I shouldn't be having anything between meals). Is it belly hunger or head hunger? I'm not sure. I think I still have the food addiction taking control sometimes. It seems one of my big enemies at the moment are Salt and Vinegar chips. They go down VERY easily, who'd have thought chips were a slider? Probably like Cruskits as someone else mentioned - surprising but yep, down they go! I am also trying not to drink during my meals, but I find I get thirsty! So I've certainly cut it back, and am trying hard but not 100% on that one yet. Snacking after dinner - let's not talk about that, as that is my #1 failure *blush*. Not even close to 100% on that one but trying.
I've been stuck a few times too, which is ENTIRELY my own fault for scoffing food down. If I don't chew properly and slowly then it gets stuck, plain and simple. Man oh man does it hurt!! Only one PB though, the others have managed to go down.
But to be positive, my food over all is SO much healthier than before, I am definitely still eating less, I am exercising more (more than the "none" previously is easy LOL) and still losing weight! Slow weight loss will be good for my skin, and good for keeping it off.
Oh and here's a cool band site too: http://www.bandbuddies.com.au/ - they have a shop with some cool stuff in there.
I want to say thank you to all my readers and that I am still reading your blogs but don't always comment. :)
